Cleaning and inspecting fire dampers is required under the NFPA Code (90A 3-4.7) every four (4) years (6 years for hospitals). However, did you know that fire dampers are to be inspected one (1) year after being installed? We take the inspection process a step further and save you time and hassles by photographing each damper, providing a report, cleaning it, checking the operation and then marking it on a floor plan drawing so you know what it looks like, the condition, the operation, and where it is located. You don’t have to leave your desk to know where they are located - you have the plans and the photos. We also lubricate the dampers and number them for easy reference for the next round of testing. We can show you the benefits of our services - request a site visit and we will bring examples of our work.
