Most USTs at residential properties are used to store heating oil; therefore their closure is not regulated by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. However, many municipalities require that known USTs be removed or, when appropriate, closed in-place. Wellington Environmental has conducted numerous heating oil tanks closures throughout St. Louis County, out state Missouri, and the City of St. Louis, where we are licensed by the fire department to remove USTs. Not a heating oil tank, we can handle that too.
